• What updated Covid Restrictions mean for you

    24 July 2020

We can't get Footloose just yet... No dancing or standing in QLD pubs & clubs

On Friday July 24, the Queensland government announced updated Covid-19 restrictions that affect how you socialize at pubs and clubs. Patrons must now be seated at all times unless approaching the bar or using an amenity. We ask that you help us manage these new restrictions by working with us, respecting the conditions placed upon us.

As social distancing is a key element of the strategy to minimise community transmission, the Chief Health Officer directed people be seated when attending licensed venues as it reminds them to keep their distance from others. People can still go up to a bar and buy a drink, but they must then sit at a table. They can sit at the bar if there are chairs, provided they meet patron density requirements.

Lucky for us we have a big, spacious venue with plenty of seating. Not enough to accommodate our allowable venue capacity ☹️ but we are thankful for any small wins that come our way. So feel free to visit us but please make sure you bring your patience with you. We’re not here to be the fun police but we do still have a job to do.

Cheers for your support, Toowoomba. We’re still trading, we’re still employing a bunch of super star locals, and that’s the main thing 🤗

    Stay safe out there!
