Tomorrow Friday July 3 will be the start of better times ahead & a big step towards normalcy for the hospitality industry. Earlier this week, the Premier announced Stage 3 lifting of restrictions so we thought we’d help you understand what exactly that means for you & your time at Fitzy’s:
✔️Live music returns (woohoo!) but the D-floor is still on the bench for now. We’ll have a soloist up the front & a DJ our the back over the weekend & the return of a Sunday arvo soloist too. We don’t have deets of artists or times just yet but watch this space!
✔️Restaurant sittings will remain (1 hour for mid-week lunches / 1.5hrs at all other times) but we can accommodate more of you who have been dying for a famous Fitzy’s feed!
✔️Updated trading hours: open Tuesday-Sunday 12pm-late
✔️Physical distancing 1.5m is the responsibility of the patrons & actively encouraged by venues. We will need your help with this so please be respectful of staff & patrons whilst visiting us
✔️The distribution of patrons across areas of the venue is not mandated, instead a whole venue capacity will be exercised at all times. Here’s cheers to a big venue!!
✔️Gaming machines are back with social distancing the responsibility of patrons. We will keep up our end of the bargain with strict hygiene measures to keep you safe
✔️Patrons can go to bar / bistro to order, pay and take their food and drinkwith them. So you won’t be confined to a designated table like school kids any more (we’re particularly pumped about this part just quietly! 👏🏼). Physical distancing 1.5m to be managed at all points of sale to keep you safe
✔️We are still required by law to collect the contact details of each patron that enters the venue. Rest assured, this is secure & private. Your details are not used for marketing purposes
✔️Drinks on!! Let’s do this, let’s do it safely & respectfully as we cheers to change together 🍻
