FULL TIME CHEF/COOK WANTED. Full Time position. Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 per year

Fitzy's Toowoomba is an established, family owned hospitality icon on the Darling Downs pub scene with an 80-year, four generation history in the industry. We are looking for an experienced COOK OR CHEF to join our knowledgeable and fast-paced kitchen team. We offer our chefs a '4 days on, 3 day off' roster, allowing for that all important work/life balance, which is a rare opportunity in the hospitality game.

Experience is a similar role, good presentation, positivity and an excellent work ethic are a must. This full time position is open to chefs and cooks, required for nights & weekends. Position will involve some split shifts.

Are you a qualified Chef? Do you have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or 2 years of relevant industry experience? Are you looking for a new and exciting role in the Toowoomba region? About the roles:
Fitzy's Toowoomba, located at 153 Margaret Street, Toowoomba are currently looking for dynamic team members who thrive in a busy kitchen, produce quality food consistently to a high standard, have a sound knowledge of cooking methods and can work as part of a team.
We are currently recruiting for a variety of experienced levels – from Line Cooks and Commis Chefs. An immediate start is available for most roles.
 
The Skills You Will Need:

• Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent [Essential]
• 2 years experience working in a commercial kitchen
• Sound knowledge of HACCP and safety
• A passion for producing quality food at a high standard
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work as a team
• Australian work rights
